BEGINNER'S MODERN CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Calligraphy Classes Dallas - The beginner's modern calligraphy workshop is created for individuals with no prior calligraphy experience.  This class is perfect whether you are looking for a new hobby or creating beautiful wedding materials or gifts.  You will learn about the tools of pointed pen calligraphy, basic techniques and tips as well as how to write a full lowercase alphabet.  

WHAT TO EXPECT

You will learn how to hold a dip pen correctly, ink your nib, and write out a full lowercase alphabet.  In addition, you will learn common troubleshooting techniques and where to buy calligraphy materials.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

  • approximately 3 hours of instruction

  • 1 practice pad

  • 1 oblique pen holder

  • 3 nibs

  • 1 pot black ink

  • lowercase, uppercase and numbers exemplars

  • light refreshments

  • tons of fun and learning!

INVESTMENT

$140/student (includes all supplies)

TO NOTE

  • Workshop fees are non-refundable, but they are transferrable up to 7 days before class to another individual or another class with open spots, if available

  • A minimum of 10 students are required per workshop. If that minimum is not achieved the class will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.
