A little bit about me.  I love dogs, the color pink, the peppermint bark from Williams Sonoma, chocolate chip coconut cookies {Paradise Bakery and Eatzi’s have amazing ones}, weddings, pretty paper and gorgeous handwriting.  That's a lot of stuff - I had a hard time narrowing it down.  I went to Texas A&M University {Whoop!} and majored in Information Management Systems.  How did I get into calligraphy from there?  Well, I had some friends who were getting married so I decided to take a calligraphy class hoping that I might help them address their invites.  Little did I know how much I would LOVE calligraphy.  I love working with clients on their special projects – anything from wedding envelopes, invitations, monograms, etc.  Although I enjoy all projects, I would have to say that my favorite are weddings.  There’s nothing more special than helping someone create one of a kind pieces for their special day.  In a time where most things are sent electronically, it’s so nice to receive a pretty envelope in the mail that isn’t computer generated.

When I’m not working on wedding stationery and calligraphy projects I enjoy spending time with my newborn baby, family and friends, furbabies, traveling, baking and watching HGTV.

In case you were wondering how I decided on the names of my calligraphy fonts, they’re named after my own dogs or the foster dogs I’ve had in my life. 17 total so far. Did I mention I really love dogs?!

In fact, I donate 10% of all proceeds to local pet rescue groups.  Paws in the City and Operation Kindness are two local organizations that I’ve had great experiences with.
